Easy Installation
The Portal runs on solar energy and needs no trenching, wiring, or network hookup. Simply place it in a convenient, vacant spot and it is ready to begin accepting up to three packages at a time.
The Portal’s subtle footprint fits where fixed infrastructure can’t, and rapidly unlocks access to the Matternet drone delivery network.
Accepts Standard Merchant Packaging
Merchants pack orders the way they always have. The Portal and the aircraft cargo bay accept bags and boxes in addition to more bespoke reusable payload containers.
Because this system does not require major operational changes, the transition from legacy transportation methods to Matternet drone delivery is fast and simple.
Multiple Drop-offs, No Waiting
Staff never wait on a flight. A merchant can deposit multiple packages into the Portal at once, where they wait securely until they are picked up by the aircraft. Asynchronous pick-up means that back-to-back orders never stack up behind a single handoff.
No drone operator on site, no contact with the aircraft, no aviation expertise required.
